Early Modern Christian Approaches to the Hebrew Bible

This session will be concerned with ways in which early modern writers and artists treated the Hebrew Bible.  Possible relevant topics could include:

Works by specific writers  or artists

Treatments of a specific biblical theme

Discussions of  the difference between the terms “Hebrew Bible” and “Old Testament”

All proposals treating one or more of these suggestions (or other relevant topics) will be considered.  Send a 150 word abstract along with a short CV to Noam Flinker  The session will be considered for sponsorship by the Israel Association of the RSA.

Proposals should be received no later than Tuesday, May 24, 2016.
