Historians of Netherlandish Art (www.hnanews.org) is seeking proposals for our sponsored sessions at RSA 2017. Based on submissions received, we will form sessions on topics of interest. If you have a group of three papers to propose as a complete session, you can send that along as one proposal. We are limited to a total of five sessions (15 papers) in total.
Session topics and individual papers should represent the range of HNA members' core interests in visual and material culture of or related to the Netherlands ca. 1450-1700. Preference will be given to HNA members. All chairs and speakers must be members of RSA (or join prior to the conference) and are responsible for their own costs of travel, registration, etc.
Proposals for sessions should include a title and brief description of the topic, a title and an abstract (maximum 150 words) for each paper, and a one-paragraph biography (150 words) for each participant, including chair(s).
Proposals for individual papers should include a title, an abstract (150 words maximum) and a one-paragraph biography of the speaker.
Per RSA rules, all speakers must be at least advanced PhD candidates; all sessions must include at least one speaker with a terminal degree. Further information can be found on the website: http://www.rsa.org/page/2017Chicago
Please send proposals to me at: email@example.com BY MAY 20.
