Thomas More

On the heels of the 500th anniversary of the publication of Utopia, the International Association for Thomas More Studies is issuing a call for papers for multiple sessions at the 2017 Renaissance Society of America annual meeting (Chicago, March 30 – April 1).  Any research relating to Thomas More is invited, including topics of Utopia, law, historiography, translation, Reformation controversy, theology, consolation, martyrdom, and literary legacies.  To submit a proposal, please send a 150-word abstract and current CV to Emily Ransom ( by June 1.  Proposals will be considered as they come with a fast turn-around time.  Scholars at any stage of their careers are warmly welcome.
