The Alchemist is Ben Jonson’s famous, fast-paced comedy about three charismatic con artists who promise to give their gullible victims the secret of turning lead into gold. But on the day they plan to take the money and run, the con men suddenly find they have taken on more than they bargained for, and their house of cards starts to fall apart.
