The Center for Early Modern Studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison will host a one-day conference on "Conceiving Peace, Pacification and Conflict Resolution in the Early Modern Period" on Friday, February 27, 2015. Speakers include: Daniel Kapust (Political Science, UW-Madison), Andrew Shifflett (English, Univ. of South Carolina), David Quint (English, Yale Univ.), Mara Wade (German, Univ. of Illinois), Cathy Yandell (French, Carleton College).
