RSA Annual Meeting: Call for Graduate Student Volunteers

Tuesday, March 6, 2018   (0 Comments)

The Renaissance Society of America is looking for graduate student volunteers to help with the RSA Annual Meeting in New Orleans, 22–24 March 2018. We are offering graduate students a waived registration fee if you volunteer to work a shift at the Annual Meeting. This year we'll be asking volunteers to work the registration desk, as well as help out at the various meeting spaces. I'm happy to provide more info if needed. Volunteers are expected to stay on their shift for the whole time, so please check the program to make sure it doesn't conflict with a session you very much want to attend. We do also ask that all conference attendees become members of the RSA.

If you are interested please contact Maura Kenny ( to let her know your preferred shift, your affiliation, and if you've already registered for the Annual Meeting or not.

The shifts are:

Wednesday, 21 March: 2:00–7:00 p.m.

Thursday, 22 March: three shifts (these shifts are shorter, but they are the most hectic): 7:30–11:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or 2:30–6:00 p.m.

Friday, 23 March: two shifts: 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and 1:00–6:00 p.m.

Saturday, 24 March: 8:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
