The Hudson Strode Program in Renaissance Studies at The University of Alabama is hosting a symposium on "The Future of Teaching Shakespeare" in honor of the Program's Thirtieth Anniversary. The Symposium will be held on 21–22 February 2020 at the Hotel Capstone in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The Symposium aims to generate a lively discussion of innovative techniques for teaching Shakespeare and early modern literature, with a forward-looking gaze that considers the future of our discipline capaciously and inclusively.
