Tuesday, December 11, 2018   (0 Comments)

For a new series to be published by Bloomsbury, The Cultural History of Myth, I am looking for contributors on the following topics, with reference to the period 1400–1650 in Europe:

  • Creation and End of the World
  • Paradise and Exile
  • Animals, Nature, and Calamities (flood, earthquake, volcano, etc.)
  • Peoples, Nations, and War
  • Heroes/Heroines
  • Death and Afterlife
  • Loss or Lack of Belief

One paper each on one topic each, due in spring 2020, is what we are looking for. Please send a letter of interest and a brief description of your experience to robert.appelbaum@engelska.uu.se.
