New UPenn Journal: "Bibliotheca Dantesca"

The University of Pennsylvania wishes to announce that the first volume of the journal "Bibliotheca Dantesca" ( has been published.

“Bibliotheca Dantesca” is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to Dante studies. The annual volume will feature essays in English related to both traditional areas of study, as well as new research methodologies, including digital humanities, material culture, Mediterranean studies, history of emotions, gender studies, etc. The aim of the journal is to offer interdisciplinary scholarship to the academic community that will engage with all aspects of contemporary works on Dante, particularly in view of the fast-approaching seventh centenary of the poet’s death. The journal is an Open Access publication of the Center for Italian Studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
