Call for Submissions: Lightning Talks at RSA 2020 Philadelphia
Friday, November 22, 2019
The Program Committee for the 66th Annual Meeting of the RSA invites submissions for talks of no more than six minutes for inclusion in one of two Lightning Talk sessions at the conference in Philadelphia, 2–4 April 2020. Current RSA members who are not already in a speaking role on the program (paper presenter, roundtable discussant, or session respondent) are eligible to submit, provided they also meet the standard eligibility criteria. Members whose submissions were not accepted in the first round of committee review are welcome to re-submit or make a new submission.
These sessions will bring together scholars of different fields, disciplines, and career levels to address pressing questions in Renaissance studies from a variety of perspectives. Abstracts that present new directions in Renaissance studies and multidisciplinary approaches are especially welcome. Specific session themes may emerge based on the content of submissions received.
