In 2021 we will return to Europe to hold our Annual Meeting in Dublin, Ireland on April 7–10 (four days instead of three). Dublin is very walkable, and the Luas light-rail tram system and bus lines also make it easy to get around town. The Convention Centre Dublin will be our conference headquarters, hosting the registration desk, exhibits, and plenaries. Paper panels, seminars, roundtables, and workshops will be held in break-out rooms at the Convention Centre and other nearby venues. Business meetings, special events, and exhibitions, before and during the conference, will take place at museums and archives around the city. Admission to all Irish national museums, including the National Gallery of Ireland, is free. Reduced-rate accommodations have been booked for RSA attendees at downtown hotels. The call for submissions is now open.

In 2022 we will head to the West Coast for a meeting at the San Francisco Hilton Union Square, March 31–April 2. The hotel is only two blocks from Union Square and within walking distance of the city's famed Chinatown. Among San Francisco's numerous cultural institutions, the Legion of Honor Museum and de Young Museum merit special mention, as do the libraries and museums associated with Bay Area universities, including Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley.

Our 2023 conference will be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on March 9–11, at two resort hotels, the Caribe Hilton and Condado Plaza Hilton. Their location just on the edge of the city allows us to avoid the crush of the cruise-ship crowds downtown. The historic city is easily accessible from the conference venues by taxi or bus. San Juan's historic sites and collections date back to the sixteenth century (and before), including the San Felipe del Morro fortress, the Casa del Libro, and the Museo de Las Americas. In Ponce, a 90-minute drive across the island, the Museo de Arte de Ponce houses a remarkable collection of masterpieces of European painting.

For our Annual Meeting in 2024 we will return to the Palmer House Hilton in downtown Chicago (the "Loop"), which was the site of our 2017 meeting. The Palmer House is located just a 5–10 minute walk from the Art Institute of Chicago and the city's Symphony Center. The Loyola University Museum of Art and the Newberry Library are both within easy reach by public transportation. The Chicago meeting is scheduled for March 21–23.

In 2025, for the first time ever, the RSA will hold a joint meeting with the Shakespeare Association of America, March 19–22. The two societies will team up at three Boston hotels interconnected by shopping venues: the Sheraton Boston, Marriott Copley Place, and Westin Copley Place. Each society will hold its own regular business meetings but through a shared registration process, delegates will be able to attend sessions and special events hosted by both societies. We are thrilled to be co-conferencing with the SAA; we expect that this will give members of both organizations many opportunities for cross-communication and shared ventures.
